Daniell Gularte Miller

Daniell Gularte Miller

(October 9, 1971- December 31, 2020)

Keeping her sparkle going…

Daniell was many things to many people—a devoted wife, mom, grandmother, and friend who would do anything for them. She had a passion for life and serving others. Dedicated to all things family and community, she was all about Nipomo High School FFA, Boosters and Girls Basketball, Mission Hope Cancer Center, and Arroyo Grande Hospital. She was also a founding board member of 17 Strong®.

Daniell was proud of her Portuguese heritage and coined the name “Queen of Portugal.” During her battle with ovarian cancer, she began planning her trip to Portugal. Sadly, Daniell lost her battle with cancer before she was able to fulfill her dream trip.

Her friends and family would love it if one of the 17 Strong® recipients would consider honoring Daniell’s memory by taking a trip to Portugal and possibly attending one or more of the events or visiting the places she planned to visit.

•            Sao Joaninas or “City’s Festival”

•            Terceira Island

•            Running of the Bulls

•            Bull Fight “Tourada a corda”

•            Fresh Sea Food

•            Cave Tour

There are many festivals and activities in the Azores Islands of Portugal. When you enjoy your trip, at your happiest moment, raise a glass, say a prayer, and think of Daniell. Snap a few photos to share with her friends and family.
